.Net Developer
SPECIFIC SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE we are looking for include the following:
• Visual Studio 2005 and/or Visual Studio 2008
•C# or VB.Net
• SQL Server Stored Procedures
•Windows Communication Foundation (WCF)
•Language Integrated Query (LINQ)
•Distributed environments
•Smart Client Software Factory and or Composite Application Block (optional)
•Web Development using ASP.Net / AJAX / SharePoint (optional)
•Exposure to non-Microsoft technologies: Java, Open Source tools (optional)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Design, code, test and implement software to resolve business challenges in a manufacturing environment.
•Understand business processes that are supported by the software for which you are responsible.
•Provide technical advice, code reviews and assistance to other programmers.
•Maintain a working knowledge of advancing technologies. Identify applicable solutions and implement with existing networks when appropriate.
•Participate and/or be responsible for the roll out and on time delivery of developed applications.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems or equivalent work experience. 8+ years industry experience as a software developer using Microsoft Tools and Technologies, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
